Welcome to Nursery! 

Our Nursery is a very warm, happy and fun place to be! We have a wonderful caring team of skilful Early Years Practitioners led by an Early Years Teacher who are all experienced and trained to nurture every child that comes through our door. Your child's well being is simply at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that they feel safe, secure, valued and understood. We understand and value that all children are different, learn in different ways with different interests. We work closely with parents from the very start and as a result our children settle in quickly! 

Our Nursery Team

Our Nursery Teacher is Mrs Denton and our Early Years Practitioners and Key Persons are Miss Hallsworth, Mrs Denman and Mrs Lowes. They care for the children throughout every part of their day, indoors and out, including lunchtimes, ensuring that the children's needs are met  by adults they know well and who know them well at all times. We understand how important it is that children become good communicators and our staff team is well trained in Elklan, an accredited approach to supporting and developing early speech and language. We also proud holders of the National Day Nursery Association's Maths Champions Award for our commitment to teaching and learning of early maths. 

Our Provision

We are very lucky to have our own self-contained building, with a large conservatory/dining annexe as well as a small quiet/sleep room set within our beautiful school grounds. Outdoors we have our own exciting, spacious and fully enclosed outdoor learning area with gravel and sand pits, a mud kitchen, dens and quiet spaces. Children learn best from first hand experiences so we like to spend lots of time outdoors exploring, discovering the awe and wonder of our natural world. 

Children can join us from the age of 2 years and many do - continuing their Huttoft School journey until the end of Year 6 !  We are open every day during term time, currently from 8 30 to 2 45 pm. We  offer both 15 and 30 hour funded places for 3 to 4 year olds as well as 15 hour funded places for eligible 2 year olds.  We also offer affordable purchasable sessions for those children not yet in receipt of funding or 'top up' sessions for those children in receipt of funding.
