We are all very proud of our school and the educational opportunities that we provide for our pupils, preparing them with the skills and attitudes that will help them to become successful into the future. Our school is a very happy, caring place where all pupils are known individually and valued. Our headteacher spends a great deal of time with the children during the school day - visiting lessons, helping at lunchtime and ensuring standards of teaching and learning are very high. We are very well regarded in the community for our family atmosphere. Indeed, Ofsted 2013 reported that 'parents appreciate the family atmosphere of a small school where their children flourish in all areas of their development.'
Our vision is to ‘to provide a high quality education for the children in our care’ and we believe that this encapsulates all that we do. Year on year our pupils enjoy sustained academic success and high quality personal development, helping them to become responsible, confident, articulate and self disciplined. We have extensive and beautiful grounds surrounded by trees and shrubs, two playing fields, a wildlife area within a Sensory Garden and thoughtfully designed environmental areas so that the children can enjoy learning outside as well as inside the classroom.
