• Tuesday 11 November 2025 Christmas Lunch Options 2025 🎄 It's Christmas Lunch Time! 🎅Get ready for a super festive, turkey-filled Christmas feast with all the trimmings!
• Tuesday 7 October 2025 80th Anniversary of VE Day Celebration On 8th May 2025 as a whole school we celebrated the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, dressing up in 1940's clothing and participating in different activities to experience what it would've been like. We had a 'Street Party' style lunch on the field and took part in lots of different 1940's games. We had a singer perform lots of different 1940's songs during the afternoon whilst playing games, seeing a 1940's bus and jeep and even had a go a learning different dances. The best part was we had an Air Raid Siren - it was so loud! At the end of the day we all got a crocheted poppy and a VE Day medal to remember the day. What an incredible day had by all!

• Thursday 26 June 2025 QEGS Sixth Form band 'Fluffy Socks' visits Huttoft Primary School The QEGS Sixth Form band 'Fluffy Socks' visited Huttoft Primary School for their music afternoon. The band performed a few songs before talking about their instruments and answering questions about their experiences as performers. The climax of the event saw the Huttoft pupils joining the band in a performance of 'Shotgun'. It was wonderful afternoon celebrating the joys of music and singing. There are already plans for further collaborations!

Whatever the weather, our Reception children benefit from spending lots of time in our exciting new outdoor learning spaces.Outdoor play helps children grow in so many ways. It builds their confidence, encourages communication, and helps them develop important social and physical skills. Being outside also sparks their curiosity and supports their understanding of the world around them.We are proud of the excellent progress our children make, and outdoor learning plays a big part in that. These photographs show just how much fun they have while learning and exploring in the fresh air!
