Intent
Personal Social and Health Education helps pupils develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to keep themselves healthy and safe, and prepare for life and work in modern Britain.
The PSHE curriculum incorporates Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE).
Our personal, social and health education (PSHE) programme promotes children’s personal, social and economic development, as well as their health and wellbeing. It helps to give children the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives and to become informed, active, responsible citizens.
Children’s wellbeing, happiness, and above all, safety are our first priority. PSHE is the way in which we share this with children. PSHE is an integral component of the whole curriculum, central to our approach, covering all of our school values and is at the core of our ethos.
